I really think that in the blue dress she was just trying to choose something that matched with the carpet. If you notice they are very similar shades of blue ~ she couldn't use their drapes or sofa covers like she does at home so she did the next best thing.

As for the cardigan, it looks stretched out of shape and like it's seen the wash machine about 100 times more than is recommended. What an embarrassment.

Someone told me they think her dressing this way is her way of thumbing her nose at people "because she can" and idiots think she's a "fashion icon".

The 3 brooches on a foil-like dress with a very tired looking, old-looking cardigan -- this is fashionable? I'm sure she wore the cardigan because the gold dress is sleeveless. The dress looks like it squeaks as she walks.

Every other woman has on lovely winter garments! Doesn't the combined brain power of 22 taxpayer paid assistants manage any sort of say over what our first lady wears?

OMG!!! Get out the eye-bleach..I can't believe what I am seeing. It's worse than I thought it could be. That "evening dress" looks like a sundress from Walmart, only longer. And you know Tim Gun was right, if it looks like it should be on the tree, it shouldn't be on you..perhaps he should have included the wrapping on the presents too. She always looks totally out of place, badly dressed and awkward.

Why would she wear a molded torso gown like this - with a dropped flounced skirt that rides at the widest part of her hips? And why is it too long? She apparently tripped going into the banquet and said "oops". When she stood in a group shot and didn't hold the skirt up, it puddled around her feet like draperies.

The dingy thrift shop tiny cardigan over the gold foil Christmas wrapping paper left from last year, the garbage around her neck, the matching kimono wrap over the foil dress, the gray chenille bathrobe for waving at the Little Folk, the horrid blue tank top worn with skirt falling off her hips (no sign of a waistline anywhere, may I add) and the crowning glory of a white slip with bra straps sliding off the shoulders.....I can't take any more of this...
