Hitler was a fascist, which is on the right of the political spectrum. Stalin was a socialist, which is on the left of the political spectrum. Many of their policies were similar, but only when it came to killing people. Hitler was fine with private ownership of businesses, farms and homes as long as they did what they were told and were not Jews. Stalin was not fine with private ownership, the State owned everything, including people's houses and farms. No private enterprise at all. Big difference between socialism and fascism. Neither are compatible with the US Constitution.
