So let’s see, what is the left going bonkers about this week?
First if all, as usual, Trump. How dare he be on the verge of a historic Middle Eastern peace deal. They hate peace, because…Trump. And Israel.
Second, Elon. Imagine the audacity of that man, building a rocket company that he took public thereby making some 5000 people millionaires and turning himself into a trillionaire. He doesn’t deserve it, dammit! I mean, come on, man, it’s not like it’s rocket science, oh wait…
And don’t get me started on the UFC cage match on the South lawn of the White House. The left has gone absolutely ballistic . Al Sharpton said it was like “fights for the slave masters.” Nobody knows exactly what that means, but we know it must be racist. And much of the political and cultural establishment (read: elitists) consider it an atrocity, demeaning to the Presidential grounds and rife with gladiator vibes. Based, however, on all manor of Hollywood, sports and musical acts presented during past Presidential administrations one would have to conclude that popular culture icons are not the problem. It’s only when popular culture icons don’t reflect the values and tastes of the elitists that it’s a threat to democracy. After all, they are the arbiters of what constitutes culture not the plebs. Ergo, elite foul mouth rappers, transgenders, sexual deviants and drag queens meet elite standards but UFC fights do not. Got it?
