Turkey Drop**

Unfortunately it appears that Turkey’s military coup – which had admiral objectives -

failed. So constitutional order remains wobbly, human rights and freedoms remain subjugated to Islam, the rule of law continues to be subjugated to sharia and general security threatened. Obama is pleased the Islamic autocrat has triumphed. Birds of a feather, so to speak, although apparently not water proof.

Some have suggested that Erdogan orchestrated the coup himself, in order to give more legitimacy to his regime and allow the acceleration of the conversion of Turkey from a democratic parliamentary government to an Islamic presidential regime. And possibly set up the New Ottoman Empire with Erdogan the leader of the New Caliphate. That could mean war.

Choose Life

Looks like somebody didn’t wait for the official “Day of Rage” to begin.

Of all the choices embedded in their national motto, why on earth have the French chosen Mort? Oh, right; political correctness. And since all lives don’t matter to the New Caliphate that means death to the infidel.

As of late Friday the venerable New York Times reported on the massacre, under the heading “What We Don’t Know:”

Who was responsible and why. The newspaper Nice Matin reported early Friday that he was a 31-year-old Frenchman of Tunisian origin, but officials have not confirmed that.

To paraphrase former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton:

“Was it because of a protest or was it because of a guy out for a ride one night and decided he’d go kill some Frenchmen? What difference, at this point, does it make?"

I’m going with Newt Gingrich, hopefully our next Secretary of State:

“Everybody who watches this video, this is the fault of Western elites who lack the guts to do what is right, to do what is necessary, and to tell us the truth, and that starts with Barack Obama.”

That’s Mighty White of You, BLM

Notice anything unusual about Saturday’s BLM protest in Salt Lake City?

That’s right, it’s pretty white. Apparently you can’t even pay BLM protestors to go to Salt Lake City.

Nice try Salt Lake, your efforts will be duly noted butt frankly if you can’t muster more than 200 white folks on a pleasant summer afternoon maybe you should find something else to protest.

In fairness though, when you say “BLM” in Utah most people assume you’re talking about the Bureau of Land Management, which is pretty universally disliked in these parts.

Banana Republics and the Nuts Who Run Them

Remember back in the 70’s when Woody Allen was funny?

Fielding Mellish: Ok, I just wanted to make sure you were getting it.

Judge: You're out of order!

On the progressive nature of “guilt” as it applies to the law:

Rebel Leader: You are accused of killing over a thousand people in your term of office... of torturing hundreds of women and children. How do you plead?

Diaz: Guilty... with an explanation.

I believe the explanation was “there was no proof of intent.”

On tolerance in our very modern society:

Sharon Craig: I think Mr. Mellish is a traitor to this country because his views are different from the views of the President and others of his kind. Differences of opinion should be tolerated, but not when they're too different. Then he becomes a subversive mother.

That’s right, a “subversive mother” – and most likely a racist as well.

And on the parameters of the law itself:

Fielding Mellish: You cannot bash in the head of an American citizen without written permission from the State Department.

Wow! Woody sure nailed it! I always new he was more than just a comedian and incestuous child molester.

Butt getting back to Banana Republics and modern day America: it would appear that FBI Chief James Comey’s “baffling rescue of Hillary Clinton” may have inched us closer to that reality. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think he “intended” to butt the facts support the case that “Comey has done his best to move rule of law in this country one big step closer to that of a banana republic.”

My advice: beware of would-be dictators disguised as bananas.
