It Will Only Be Worse When You Wake Up

I would like to stop talking about COVID-19, but the establishment is doing its best to make it impossible to just go about enjoying the summer.

Summer: it can only be enjoyed for a brief time

With the constant ginning up of purportedly “scientific” studies along with the constant hawking of attendant bad science and the repression of information about effective treatments for “the deadly virus”  they’ve managed to keep the majority of the populace in thrall by continually promising more “freedom” mañana for compliance today. There seems to be no dearth of lost souls willing to do so.

As of late though there is – finally -  a growing backlash. As a few more porch lights start going on perhaps there will be a growing swarm of individuals who have grown sick and tired of the crap they’re being fed round the clock. I remain encouraged by the eye-opening of some influential leftists: Andrew Sullivan, Glenn Greenwald and Matt Taibbi - who penned this article for the New York Post: From ‘Yes we can’ to ‘No, you moron’: Dems have selves to blame for vaccine hesitancy. 

I’m vaccinated. I think people should be vaccinated. But this latest moral mania — and make no mistake about it, the “pandemic of the unvaccinated” p.r. campaign is the latest in a ceaseless series of such manias, dating back to late 2016 — lays bare everything that’s abhorrent and nonsensical in modern American politics, beginning with the no-longer-disguised aristocratic mien of the Washington consensus.

Now this new vaccine debate has been amped to 11. The universal consensus of the “Powerhouse Roundtable” types is that it’s time to start opening the cans of whoop-ass on the vaccine-hesitant, yanking services and civil liberties from those murderous holdouts who are, the president tells us, “killing people.” They do this acting like the public doesn’t remember the messaging from the Biden-Harris campaign last year, which was talked about at the time as being irresponsible precisely because it set a precedent of urging the public to distrust the vaccine.

The article describes how the elite first establish state-sponsored dependence and then use that dependence to cudgel you into doing what they want you to do. From Margaret Hoover we hear this:

“If you’re going to get government-provided health care, if you’re getting VA treatment, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, anything — and Social Security obviously isn’t health care — you should be getting the vaccine. OK? Because we are going to have to take care of you on the back end.”

And from Obama henchman Rahm Emanuel we get this “amen, sister:”

“You know, I’m having an out-of-body experience, because I agree with you,” said Barack Obama’s former hatchet man [Rahm Emanuel], before adding, over the chyron, FRUSTRATION MOUNTS WITH UNVACCINATED AMERICANS:

“I would close the space in. Meaning if you want to participate in X or Y activity, you gotta show you’re vaccinated. So it becomes a reward-punishment-type system, and you make your own calculation.”

And that my friends is a classic example of what tyranny is, how tyrants think, and how they make their tyranny work.

My advice: if you find yourself in an awkward situation do not just lie down and go to sleep because it will only be worse when you wake up.

Despite ‘Delta’ Alarmism, US COVID Deaths Are at Lowest Level Since March 2020, Harvard and Stanford Professors Explain.

Far more people were dying from COVID-19 months ago as we were winding down restrictions than are dying today as some call to reinstate them.

So as the imbeciles once again demand masks, lockdown and submission because…cooties! Might I disrespectfully suggest we all refuse to submit during this round.

If you judged the US’s current COVID-19 situation only by the headlines, you’d come away thinking that we’re spiraling back into pandemic disaster. Localities like Los Angeles County and St. Louis have reimposed mask mandates on their citizens, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention just revised its “guidance” to say that, actually, fully vaccinated individuals should still wear masks in certain situations. Meanwhile, mainstream media coverage of the rise of the “Delta variant” is soaked in alarmism.

Now, some would cite rising COVID-19 case counts or hospitalizations in certain parts of the country as evidence that the pandemic is indeed once again spiraling out of control. But many COVID-19 cases recorded as positive are either asymptomatic or come with very mild symptoms—especially the cases confirmed among vaccinated individuals—so high case counts are not necessarily proof of a serious problem. Hospitalizations are concerning, yes, but primarily insofar as they lead to high numbers of deaths, which, thankfully, is not the case so far with the Delta variant. - FEE

Here are a couple of COVID-19 survivors.

They were later victims of political assassination conducted by U.S. officials and their media allies via election fraud. And no, I’m not going to get over it. I hold a grudge that way.

Do we want public health officials to report facts and uncertainties transparently? Or do we want them to shape information to influence the public to take specific actions?

Throwback Thursday, Mask Edition

Throwback Thursday rolls around again.

And in honor of the day, the idiots running our country have decided it’s time to throwback to the mask. Once again, based on the most dubious science since the Global Warming cult and Flat Earth Society were formed, they want America to mask up again. They are going to mandate yet another year of children-of the-mask; yet another year in which children see no facial features, get no facial clues from each other or their teachers. We are training our children to be autistic.

To all this nonsense I offer the antidote: become a Refusenik,

“I will not comply”

for all the reasons outlined by this wise Canadian:

It is not science any longer, it is nothing more than organized propaganda, augmented by the blocking of anyone or anything that doesn’t support the state-sponsored religion. Is there ANYTHING less American?

Yet here we are, Biden’s America, where science is nothing more than organized propaganda. Spread by media, social media and useful idiots in a mindless onslaught of repetitive drivel.

I just left the ER too, where communism is running rampant and is MUCH more transmissible than the original viral strain. The only vaccine is freedom and we seem to be running low. America is on life support.

Flu has virtually disappeared from the U.S., with reports coming in at far lower levels than anything seen in decades.

I read that ‘virtue signaling’ which makes more sense] — were a big factor in preventing a “twindemic” of flu and COVID-19. A push to get more people vaccinated against flu probably helped, too, as did fewer people traveling, they say.

Another possible explanation: The coronavirus has essentially muscled aside flu and other bugs that are more common in the fall and winter. Scientists don't fully understand the mechanism behind that… [ed. of course not, scientists these days don’t understand a lot of things that don’t fit the coronavirus narrative]

The numbers are astonishing considering flu has long been the nation's biggest infectious disease threat. In recent years, it has been blamed for 600,000 to 800,000 annual hospitalizations and 50,000 to 60,000 deaths…Flu-related hospitalizations, however, are a small fraction of where they would stand during even a very mild season, said Brammer, who oversees the CDC's tracking of the virus. – ABC News

As we “non-scientists” suspected all along, it appears the “flu” may well have been conflated with the “Covid” all last year. According to Legal Insurrection even the CDC doesn’t trust the CDC testing/tracking anymore :

The agency announced that after December 31, 2021, it will withdraw the request to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) of the CDC 2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel. The test came out in February 2020 to detect the SARS-CoV-2 (i.e., the coronavirus causing COVID019 only.)

CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses. Such assays can facilitate continued testing for both influenza and SARS-CoV-2 and can save both time and resources as we head into influenza season. Laboratories and testing sites should validate and verify their selected assay within their facility before beginning clinical testing.

Hmmmm. Since they had no flu to track last year the ‘scientists’ don’t know what to put in this year’s flu vaccine – but what do you want to bet they encourage everyone to get a flu shot this year anyway?

And the Covid ‘vaccine’ - which isn’t really a vaccine - still allows it’s recipients to infect others with Covid that they themselves can’t get because…vaxxed! My head is swimming. In circles.

And still, we’re the problem here?

But we’re the ones dazed and confused?

Yes, please.

The problem with the case is that it appears the FBI, through informants and undercover agents, hatched the kidnapping plot, served in the key leadership positions of the militia group, trained the militia members in military tactics, actively recruited participants, and funded much of the militia’s activities. Then, when various members of the Watchman militia became uncomfortable with the kidnapping plot, with several quitting, the FBI’s primary informant pushed the plot along, eventually becoming the militia group’s leader.

Hello Dog Days

Remember how the media chortled when George W. Bush invented a new word – ‘mis-misinformation’? Little did they know that it would one day become the coin of the realm.

During an interview with CNN this week, White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield admitted the Biden administration's censorship efforts are specifically targeting conservative news sites for publishing "misinformation."

"You've heard the president speak very aggressively about this. He understands this is an important piece of the ecosystem but its also the other thing, the president has pointed out and spoke to when he was asked about this yesterday, it is also the responsibility of the people creating the content and again I would go back to, there are conservative news outlets who are creating irresponsible content that's sharing misinformation about the virus," Bedingfield said. - Townhall

My initial reaction to Ms. Bedingfield’s comment was “isn’t there anybody in the White House who can utter a coherent sentence?” All the professional communicators, from Big Guy himself, to the Big White spokesmouth, Psaki and now the Big White Communications Director Bedingfield (an unfortunate name, you must admit) babble like a brook running downhill. Working from a meme-of-the-month (July’s being “misinformation”) helps them all stay on point. They’ve done so well this month they earned a wink and a nod from a master:

Well done, Big White figurehead and staff! You’ve reached expert status.

Might I suggest a day at the beach to decompress and dispel any further end-of-the-world misinformation?
