This headline caught my eye: UAE minister: Iran’s aggression made Arab world look at Israel ‘with fresh eyes’

The United Arab Emirates didn’t need peace with Israel to counter Iran, a top UAE official said Friday, but he said Iran’s aggressive policies over three decades alarmed many Arab countries and made them look at their relationship with Israel “with fresh eyes.”

It strikes me that the racist, terrorist arm of the Democratic party [SAY THEIR NAME! BLM/ANTIFA!] might force that same type of uneasy alliance between Democrats and Trump if they’re not careful.

Because even if there is a lot of racism and white privilege going on around here…

if they think about it a bit they could conclude that it’s not necessarily a sound decision to burn it all down in order to ‘save’ it for society’s whack jobs.

I don’t know which way he/she is going but I do know that this person is a “lady” nowhere other than in  neo-liberal land where history and western civilization must be erased and the patriarchy smashed

My best advice for Dems is to keep this wise old Arabian proverb in mind.

And then look very carefully before you decide who your real enemy is.

I Think You’ve Done Something Really Stupid Too

At yesterday’s White House press briefing Brian Karem of Playboy (ed. Playboy? When did they become a “news” outlet?) asked the President “win, lose or draw in this election, will you commit here today for a peaceful transferal of power after the election?” President Trump deferred, again citing his concern that mail-in voting could lead to widespread voter fraud, and stating that he expected to win and therefore didn’t anticipate a transfer of power, just a continuation.

The Democratic operatives with bullhorns – the journalists I mean, not the “protestors” – immediately got all wee-weed up (Barack’s term not mine). Their antics and accusations would have you believe that the President is, well, literally Hitler!

Literally, I tell you!

They are outraged that President Trump has declined to concede the election 49 days before it is held. Furthermore he has the audacity to throw shade on the process underway in many Blue swing states to send unsolicited requests for 1) voter registration and 2) absentee ballots. I can tell you firsthand that it stinks to high heaven. How? Well here in Michigan, at the address of the bunker that MOTUS built 32 years ago, and hence has never been occupied by anyone else, a woman with my surname and an entirely different first name received an unsolicited application to register to vote from the office of the Secretary of State. Two weeks later this non-existent woman received an application for an absentee ballot, odd as she apparently had never registered to vote. Nor could she possibly have met the guidelines for either solicitation as stated by the SoS:

Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson previously announced her office would send information on how to apply for an absentee ballot to 4.4 million registered voters.

The state is also sending 700,000 letters to residents who are eligible to vote and have a driver's license or state identification card but are not registered to vote, according to a news release.

Since “Lisa” is not a registered voter she shouldn’t have gotten an application for absentee ballot, and since she certainly doesn’t have a either a driver’s license or state ID with MY address listed as her residence she didn’t qualify for an application to register to vote either. So what good is poll watching when “Lisa” is probably going to vote by mail, for Biden, using my address which is in a Republican district? And they wonder why the President thinks this drive for mail in voting (ostensibly to avoid the Cooties) is rigged?

I would ask my Democrat/liberal friends, of which I have very few anymore, if they would be comfortable if the tables were turned. If it were the Republican/conservatives who were driving a get-out-the-mail-in-vote campaign in states where they controlled the respective state election commissions.  Of course not, Democrats wouldn’t stand by and allow 80 million unrequested, unverifiable ballots to jam the mail, delay vote counts and in all likelihood allow the election to devolve into chaos. But then, the Dems are all too familiar with how this scam is run, they’d be prepared to deal with it. They’d be demanding NOW to know how the unsolicited ballot mailing lists were created and begin verifying the names NOW. You know - in order to ensure a “peaceful transition of power” regardless of the election results.

Now if you want to know what an actual refusal to allow a “peaceful transition of power” you need look no further than the Obama administration’s operation Crossfire Hurricane.

Don’t count on it my Democrat friends; you’ve done something really stupid.

Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall

Meteorological fall started on September 1, astronomical fall arrived on Tuesday, September 22, 9:31 A.M. EDT. So no matter how you count, or what your temperature, it is time we bid adieu to summer, 2020.

With all of summer’s oppressive heat, cootie masks, closed businesses, wildfires and riots it’s hard to believe it will be missed but I will.

Still, I’ll welcome fall and all it’s blazing glory for what it is - one more marker in time’s relentless cycle of death and rebirth.

Summer temps have returned to these parts for a few days but the wise thing at this point is to put away the things of summer and get your favorite sweater out.

Because you know what’s right around the corner.

Of Cheese Heads** and Socialists

True, but not by much, maybe a nose…or a hair. But let’s take another look, it could be a tie:

SCOTUS POCUS

President Trump was right (again): Don Lemon really is the dumbest man on television. Despite his idiotic claims, things actually aren’t the same as they were in 2016 when Obama nominated Merrick Garland for Supreme Court Justice.

For one thing, Republicans took control of the Senate in the midterm election of 2014, giving them control of both Houses of Congress. And elections have consequences as The Won was so fond of telling people.

So let me be clear: at the end of the day Trump won.

And Republicans did not prevent Obama from making his (third) nomination for SCOTUS in 2016 after Justice Scalia died. They simply declined to vote on his nomination, which was their Constitutional right and responsibility: you could say they advised against Garland and withheld their consent.

But don’t worry, the dumbest man on television knows how to fix the situation:

“And you know what we’re going to have to do? … You’re going to have to get rid of the electoral college, because the minority in this country decides who the judges are and they decide who the president is. Is that fair? … If Joe Biden wins, Democrats can stack the courts and they can do that amendment and get it passed.”

That left it to to Cuomo to explain to Lemon that passing a constitutional amendment requires an overwhelming majority of support in Congress as well as state legislatures.

But isn’t that rich, Cuomo – the “please, show me where it says that protests are supposed to be polite and peaceful” (literally the FIRST amendment, Fredo) guy, is CNN’s Constitutional expert.

We Will, We Will, Mock you!

The Left lost their sense of humor years ago and now every minor official and functionary with a D after their name behaves as if they are Soviet commissars. Take Barb Byrum for example, the Democratic clerk of Ingham County MI. She wants to prosecute a woman in Mason, a small town outside Lansing, for a joke. From The Detroit News:

Official: Toilet display in Mason mocking mail-in voting is a crime

A Michigan resident’s apparent joke showing disdain for voting by mail is no laughing matter for one election official.

The resident put a toilet on their lawn with a sign that says, “Place mail in ballots here.”

The clerk (D) sprung into action:

Barb Byrum, the Democratic clerk of Ingham County, filed a complaint with police over the display,

Wait a minute, aren’t Democrats in favor of defunding the police? Who’s going to investigate this scurrilous complaint?

saying it could mislead people who aren’t familiar with the voting system.

Good grief, could you be any more condescending to your constituents? And honestly, if they are so ‘unfamiliar with the voting system’ as to mistake a toilet in someone’s front yard for a USPS mailbox perhaps they are not qualified to vote in the first place.

“It is a felony to take illegal possession of an absentee ballot,” Byrum said Friday.

Do you know what else is a felony in Michigan? Voting twice. Although that possibly applies only to Republicans.

“Elections in this country are to be taken seriously and there are many people who are voting by mail for the first time this election,” she said.

That’s probably because thousands of residents, like me, received unsolicited, 1) an application to register to vote with my surname and somebody else’s first name, and 2) several weeks later, an application for an absentee ballot in the same fake name. Something stinks around here, and it’s coming from a toilet, just not the one on somebody’s lawn in Mason.

As far as I can tell there’s been no burning, rioting or looting; looks like a peaceful protest to me.

Yes, we will, we will, mock you! It’s our Constitutional right.

Build The Wall. Part II

You can take this literally,

as the rabid Left is setting cities on fire - and for all we know forests as well - and threatening to do more if they don’t get their way.

Or you can think of it as a figurative wall between the chaos, randomness, and the noise of Marxist resistance and our Constitutional system of democracy.

Life is chaos; what we actually have is a choice between the nuevo-communists’ chaos of entropy and destruction or the more deterministic chaos that allows for the building and growth of the system.

My vote goes to building and growth. It seems a bit more hopeful than the Left’s slogans of  “tear it down!” “resist!” and “be afraid, be very afraid.”

So yes Mr. President I’ll help you “build the wall.” Bigger. Higher. Stronger.
