Goodness Hardly Puts Up A Fight

Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for June 23, 1989 | Calvin and ...It does matter who created this mess

I can’t decide what upsets me most. Is it that the FBI/Deep State set Michael Flynn up, drove him to bankruptcy - then threatened to do the same to his son - in order to pressure him to confess to a crime they knew he didn’t commit?

Or is it the predictable, uniform and slanderous response from the entire Democrat/Media cabal: claims that dismissing charges against General Flynn is the real miscarriage of justice? That THIS is indicative of the weaponization of the DOJ rather than the set up of an innocent man in order to get at his boss? Their audacity knows no bounds. One need only read the transcripts, view the notes in the margins of their own reports, to see that this was pure and simply a case of entrapment, which is to say judicial misconduct of the highest order. Prosecutorial over-reach of the worst sort.

Still, the most egregious of these two evils is the first. One simply cannot live in a free country when the judicial branch is allowed to get away with this type of malfeasance. When you can’t count on your liberty because of judicial thuggery the concept of freedom  falls apart. And let’s be clear, this tactic is business as usual in the justice system. Just ask Martha Stewart.

How James Comey Can Clean Up the Mess He Made of Hillary Clinton's ...

The worst of it is the DOJ has come to rely on these tactics in order to “get their man” whether their man is guilty of a crime or not. Justice is supposed to be blind, it’s not intended to protect the guilty if they are on your team and hang the innocent it they are not.

The DOJ needs to be reminded of their original purpose. They seem to have forgotten that the law, not them, determines who the good guys and bad guys are. But it’s a lot easier to prosecute the good guys, they usually don’t put up much of a fight.

Let the Unraveling Commence

His early on hysterical coverage of the Corona virus not withstanding, I have temporarily removed Tucker from my Do-Not-Watch list. His coverage of the unraveling of the DOJ’s case against General Flynn was epic. Between his monologue and Judge Jeanine’s rant they covered every aspect of the plot to take down the President of the United States for purely political purposes. The depth and malevolence of the Deep State is exposed - from Obama and Comey and Schiff and Nadler to all the lesser contributors like James Clapper and Susan Rice, along with the political operatives in the media.

As I noted last October:

They continue to dribble out the lies and fabrications intended to take out a duly elected President who they both hate and fear. The coup is ongoing. Many of the traitors are still in place.

Our patience and faith have been sorely tested these past 3 years, waiting for justice to be meted out. Despite our tenacity, some of us are still highly skeptical as the threads are woven so deep into the fabric. Still, even the strongest fabric can be unraveled once you locate the right thread.

The current situation allows for a bit more cautious optimism. Of course there’s also reason to remain cynical as the left, along with their hardened political operatives in the media, continue to ignore all facts and  instead spout their lies and fabrications. To a person they contend that Flynn hasn’t been exonerated just because all charges were dropped due to lack of any evidence. Ilhan Omar went so far as to claim the charges were dropped due to “white privilege”  just to keep the pot stirred.

As Tucker pointed out history may reflect this whole sordid affair not as what it is but rather as the fabricators and liars spin it. Politicians can lie with impunity as they hide behind their own bureaucracy and the MSM covers for them and the media can lie with impunity because they get bureaucratic and political coverage for doing so. Deep State has created the perfect closed system, designed to maintain its mass and energy.

Our job is to provide for its complete unraveling.

Throwback Thursday. We Will Not Comply Edition

We needn’t peer too deeply into the way-back machine for Throwback Thursday posts anymore. A couple months is all we need.

Remember life before the Wuhan Cootie Flu? Of course you do, it’s just no longer available.

If you needed to go shopping you simply went, without so much as a second thought let alone a face mask.

And if you forgot the toilet paper you just went back to pick some up.

If you’d been working hard all day and didn’t feel like cooking you went out to eat, without a second thought.

If you needed to have a dental procedure you called your dentist and scheduled it, without a second thought.

If you needed medical care you went to the doctor, without a second thought.

If you needed a medical procedure your doctor scheduled it, without a second thought.

If you felt like seeing your grandkids you just invited them over without a second thought…

If you wanted to go somewhere you simply booked a flight without a second thought

If you wished to go to church as you did every Sunday for your entire life you simply did so…

If you needed your windows washed, your lawn mowed…

If you needed a haircut…

If you felt like going to a movie…

If you felt like having a double half-caf skinny latte…

If you felt like going to the gym…

If you felt like going to the gun range…

If you felt like going to the beach, or a park…

And on, and on, and on…why, it’s almost as if the people who’ve seized power and control in order to exercise power and control don’t want us to think. We are simply to comply.

I don’t think that’s going to happen.

But for the partisan media hype the Wuhan Cootie Flu would already be relegated to the “oh, that’s awful but life goes on” file. And life would be going on.

When people begin to realize what’s been perpetrated here there may be blood.

We Are Cursed To Enjoy the Ride

It’s hump day.

imageOlympic National Park, Washington (Currently closed due to Wuhan Cooties)

Of course it’s just one hump after another these days. Do your best to enjoy the gloriously humpy ride. If life were simply a long, straight ribbon of highway we would no doubt have very boring lives.

Traveling “That Ribbon of Highway” | Learn More Every Day

Purportedly a blessing, the Chinese saying “may you live in interesting times” is actually intended as a curse, as anyone who has lived those “interesting” times can attest. Make no mistake, the Chinese intent is to curse us. The Left just hasn’t figured that out yet; when and if they ever do it will be because it’s too late.

Language Apologies In Advance, But Sometimes You Just Lose It

Once again, President Trump has been proven right

The new coronavirus is real.

The response to the coronavirus is hyped. And in time, this hype will be revealed as politically hoaxed.

In fact, COVID-19 will go down as one of the political world’s biggest, most shamefully overblown, overhyped, overly and irrationally inflated and outright deceptively flawed responses to a health matter in American history, one that was carried largely on the lips of medical professionals who have no business running a national economy or government.

The facts are this: COVID-19 is a real disease that sickens some, proves fatal to others, mostly the elderly — and does nothing to the vast majority.

That’s it.

You can read the whole thing at the amazingly annoying Washington Times site if you wish but seriously, that’s it in a nutshell. Our reaction to the Wuhan Flu has been over-hyped from the get-go. It’s a MSM-Democratic Operative talking point fueled panic. For their political purposes we’ve destroyed this country’s economy for the foreseeable future. If that doesn’t make you mad you’re in a coma.

Don’t be in a coma.

Your life as you know it depends on it.

Sunday In The Art

Why we need art:

Because spring, like life, can be sketchy, transient, imperfect and sometimes it rains.
