Dare To Be Normal

Do you remember Fido Dido back in the 80’s? Back when he was cute and before he became a hack for 7-Up?

In the early days his raison d'ĂȘtre was to wave off the evils of the ordinary:

245b21a928139f79eb246003f10f70ab

I’ll  grant you that sometimes normal has to be breached in order to find a better solution, reach a higher level of achievement, achieve a better outcome or, yes, even to simply sidestep boredom. But often normal is not just okay, it’s necessary to keep civilization glued together. Consider life without a normal energy supply, normal food and water supply, normal transportation system or even normal internet service.

Yet we live in an age where the tyranny of the minority has declared our normal too boring for life as they would have it. Hence the perverts of the world have led the Left’s charge against the – ironically – least normal President America has ever experienced. I find it odd that so many of the ringleaders of the “protests” erupting “spontaneously” in the streets are people who would be consider dangerous deviants and thrown in jail in a world a bit more normal than it is now. Organizers from Seattle to Washington D.C. are confirmed pedophiles, necrophiliacs, sado-masochists, and human traffickers (warning: adult content).

Beware the culture led by deviants who label their opponents “Nationalists” and “Nazis” all the while working feverishly to create a new, more perverse, Weimar culture. The “normalizing of degeneracy” seldom ends well; see WWII.

So I challenge the enraged Left to try embracing normalcy for a change, and see how that might work out for them.

Weddings, Like Everything Else, Aren’t What They Used To Be

I currently have 4 nieces/nephews engaged, with weddings planned over the next 2 years, so this news caught my eye:  the average cost of a wedding peaked at $35,000 last year. Wow, that’s a pretty big investment. Especially when there seems to be an inverse relationship between the cost of a wedding and their longevity.

Or as Willie Nelson put it: “it would be cheaper if I just found a woman I don’t like very much and buy her a house.” In fact, a tiny house is one of the items the WaPo notes could be bought for the cost of the “average” wedding. Something else on their list: four club level premium tickets on the 50-yard line at the Super Bowl: $36,000.

So shoot, skip the ceremony and the party and just go to the Super Bowl with your two best friends where you can hear Lady Gaga at the halftime show espouse her views on ‘inclusion’ and ‘equality’ – because who would know more about that sort of thing than Lady Gaga? Watch for her to make it her coming out party, because with the glitterati class it’s always about them.

Who Says Irony Is Dead?

The Left’s latest target for shutting down what they consider “hate” speech - U C Berkeley, the infamous home of the 1960’s “free speech” movement.

"Amid violence, destruction of property and out of concern for public safety, the University of California Police Department determined that it was necessary to remove Milo Yiannopoulos from the campus and to cancel tonight’s scheduled 8 p.m. performance.Business Insider

A shame, really: Starbucks windows smashed, Bank of America trashed, firebombs detonated in buildings, pyres ignited in the middle of streets

But don’t worry, even though the administration shut down Milo’s event, the Protest Dance Party went on!

dance partyBecause nothing says protest like a high kick.

In other free speech movement news, attempts were made to sabotage Ben Shapiro’s appearance at Marquette University, another stronghold of Social Justice.

Protest We Much

How do these people organize so quickly?

C3iy5miUkAEnXkr

I particularly like the #STOP “fill in the blank” signs, so practical when you’re not certain who or what you’ll be required to protest at any given moment. It seems the George Soros “grassroots” rent-a-mob enterprise has expanded its franchise of the perpetually pissed off. They are now available to assemble at will any time, any place to dissent/demonstrate and generally bellyache about whatever their overlords instruct them to.

In any event I think I finally know what Obama was talking about when he said we need  “a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded” as the military: he meant to secure the advancements of the socialist state.

They should be careful with ongoing “protests” of this ilk; sooner or later they become nothing but annoying background noise that at first you simply ignore and later on swat like a fly.

sharpton-1122

The left would do well to remember who won this election and realize that they are fortunate indeed because Middle America was not about to take 4 or 8 more years of being transformed into the Left’s version of a socialist paradise. As J.Kb said:

Maybe I am everything that the antis think I am.  When the culture columnist of the New York Times calls all of America between the coasts the “dance of the low sloping foreheads” my first thought is does he forget who in America owns the 300 Million guns that the NYT thinks is too many?

Personal Note: As the snow fell softly Dad was laid to rest yesterday with a high funeral Mass and full Military Honors graveside by the local VFW. The services were lovely and though bittersweet we remember he lived a full and rewarding life and now rests with the angels.

Donald Trump: Action Man

Do you remember a guy that's been
In such an early song?
I've heard a rumor from Ground Control
Oh no, don't say it's true

It looks like Donald Trump’s first 100 hours will have been more impactful than any other U.S. president’s first 100 days – or in Barack Hussein Obama’s case, 100 months. You could say that President Trump is the Action Man:

They got a message from the Action Man
"I'm happy. Hope you're happy, too.

Oh yeah, baby, I’m happy! And I’m not tired of winning yet.

Off Topic: If anyone still wonders if dogs have emotions I can assure you they do. Yesterday, I swear, my late Father-in-Law’s beautiful black Lab/Golden Retriever mix, Cody, cried. Just 2 tears, 1 in each eye but he was inconsolable no matter how many treats and rubs he got. He was a rescue dog whose owners moved and left him behind and came to live in his new home a few years ago shortly after Dad lost his old, faithful, loyal and true Lab/Chou, Bear. It was a mutual rescue and Cody immediately understood his job as companion and caretaker of his infirm “master.” He will be very well cared for and loved for the rest of his life but for now he is as bereft as anyone would be who’s just lost his best friend.

So yes, dogs have emotions. And bless them for that.

Nipping At the Heels of Wolves For Generations

Boy oh boy, Trump has really stirred the hornet’s nest on this one; who does he think he is -  turning righteous immigrants away at the border? Human rights activists around the world demand action:

2-9-111404148_3xl-4xl-no-borders-no-nations

Of course there are two ways you could understand their demand, the One World Order way;

no borders nations illegal

or the Michael Savage/Ronald Reagan way:

reagan on borders

I choose the later, after all, even brothels and boarding houses have rules:

pink pussyboarding house rules

And how can any decent, thinking person oppose borders?

border collies

Max, Ralph, Abbie and Jinx have got your back: their ancestors have been nipping at the heels of wolves for generations. Don’t let them in now.
