Pop! Goes the Weasel

The misogyny charges didn’t stick, the Russian collusion charges are swirling around the drain, the left can’t locate (or convincingly manufacture) any DUI, sexual harassment or embezzlement charges or even a fake birth certificate. The only thing left is mental incapacitation. So expect the holiday fill-in list of leftwing warriors to be out and about all weekend advancing their best “Trump’s Deranged, look at his Tweets!” mantra.

I’ve already heard one such little monkey making the rounds: “What would you say about someone who said he thinks Scalia was murdered as a part of a bigger conspiracy? What would you say about someone who said Ted Cruz’s father was part of the plot to kill JFK?”

I’d say he was just winding you up and it has obviously worked.

Now if the shoe were on the other foot and it was a top Democrat saying crazy things? That would be different; in that case the little monkeys would say  “that’s just Joe being Joe,” label his eccentric comments  “Bidenisms” and joke about how cute they were.

That’s the problem with Democrats these days, they’ve lost their sense of humor.

Keeping It Real

I know, I know; President Donald J. Trump just tweeted out something else un-presidential that’s all the Fake News Networks will squawk about  through the long holiday weekend. Otherwise they would have spent the entire time telling everyone how awful the 2 immigrant bills just passed are, and how mean the “Muslim” ban just upheld by the Supreme Court is.

For the record -  Mika is NOT a journalist, she’s just another Democratic Operative with a microphone. She and Morning Joe have spent endless hours calling Trump  a liar, a crazy lunatic and otherwise questioning his mental capacity and intelligence ten ways to Tuesday. Oh, and then there was that very classy video they released bashing Trump last week.

In case they haven’t noticed, The President is definitely not a pajama boy; he enjoys hitting back. Even if it’s a girl.

Converted into today’s Democratic talking point:

“But, but, but…Donald Trump still hasn’t released his taxes! And he said ‘pussy!””

Oh, and the Supreme Court upheld most of President Donald J. Trump’s travel ban – unanimously. Let’s not talk about that!

Megyn, Megyn, Megyn: exactly how long did you think you could remain airborne once you lost your lift?

Thomas Lifson, editor and publisher of American Thinker documents her mercurial rise and equally impressive descent. Which taboo did Miss Megyn violate that caused her abandonment by both conservative and liberal viewers?  Does it even matter?  Mr. Lifson points out that taboos, especially in the arena of “news” are a funny thing: “undesirability is a subjective concept, shaped by self-interest.” Megyn reported and viewers of all stripes decided.

As commenter Terrence Appleby Allston suggested, this may explain Megyn’s situation: Ezekiel 16:28 "Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied."

Joe Scarborough: “Mystified” Too Much or Not Enough?

Is there anything more embarrassing than a 50+ year old’s mid-life crisis?

 And who wouldn’t want to listen to a 50-something with hair from the 50’s autotune his way through a Trump bashing original song? 

Answer: No.

Take Joe Scarborough for example - the ex-congressman current MSNBC talking head. He tackles the really important things in life: playing in a rock band, cutting an EP, “Mystified” and making a really cool video singing an edgy song bashing…that’s right,TRUMP! How clever is that?
