Obama: Head of the “Class”

I’ve been feeling a little guilty about not reporting on Lady M’s sacrificin’ for the past week or so. So as I wrap up my vacation, let me at least pass on news about this campaign stop in Gainesville as originally reported by our own Blonde Gator.

Apparently MO appeared before a huge crowd at the University of Florida, and wowed them with her own two versions of ‘gator choppers:

mo u of F gatormo u of F gator2

Nice gator skin dress!

She then awed those gathered for the pep rally with tall tales of Big Guy’s respect for and loyalty to everyone:

"We know that my husband will always have our backs," she said.

American Embassy_Benghazi024372-benghazi-consulate-attack

Don’t worry, I’ve got your back!

On the other hand, you could just hire your own Black Water security team. Or buy your own shoulder mounted rocket launcher. I understand that the Department of Justice has some surplus stock that you may be able to get your hands on. The State Department has some available too, butt it in either case, it helps if you can prove you’re not an American Citizen.

Like her speech earlier this month at the Democratic National Convention, Obama filled her argument for the president with personal details. She cited his respect for his mother and grandmother,

Would that be the mother who dumped him on his grandmother to raise in order to “follow her heart” in Indonesia? It does take a special special kind of guy to love a mother like that. And we all know BO’s a special kind of guy.

stanley ann dunham soetoro

Don’t jump to conclusions just because he was unable to show his mother the respect of being at her side when she died. He was on a book tour - for the first of his many autobiographies.

And the grandmother that MO mentioned that BO respected so much? Would that be his “typical white woman” grandmother he mentioned in his “race speech”  addressing the controversy over his former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright? Granny D and Rev. Wright: two people who held a special place under his bus in his heart:

"I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother -- a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world."

barackgrandparents

The grandma that Big Guy respected so much - would she be the same grandmother whose side he also was unable to be at when she died just 2 days before WINNING? Well, at least it wasn’t a book tour. And he was able to send a letter to be read at her funeral, hastily arranged some 13 days after her death.

"What truly made me fall in love with Barack Obama was his character," she said.

That figures. Birds of a feather and all.

Fundamentally transforming America: You can’t do that alone

When BO told a town hall hosted by Univision yesterday:

"The most important lesson I've learned is you can't change Washington from the inside,"

he was talking about the do-nothing Congress that wouldn’t let him single-handedly complete his total make over of America by eliminating the borders and the Constitution. What he actually meant was that in order to do that (fundamentally transform the country) he needed to tell a really good story and for that, he needed the assistance of the mainstream media. Butt how is this news?

obama-media-group

And speaking of news, If there was a medal for best MSM performance by a talking head portraying a news reporter, (and there should be) Andrea Mitchell would surely get it for this performance.

MITCHELL: Let's explain this redistribution issue because we have not authenticated this 14-year-old tape from Loyola college when Barack Obama was a state senator. So because we have not independently, at NBC News and MSNBC, authenticated it, we're not airing it.

But the basic issue is, they're accusing President Obama, as John Sununu said to me yesterday, of class warfare.

andrea_mitchel_BO_Medal_copy_thumb[1]Comrade Mitchell receives her Presidential Medal of Honor for best supporting performance of Dear Leader

Because, as we all know, the alphabets always authenticate their stories, videos and documents before they run them. With certain exceptions, of course.

FakeDocument-sm

obama_long_form_reconstruction

Anyway, the rest of Big Guy’s “You can’t change Washington from inside” comment: “You can only change it from the outside. That’s how I got elected,” speaks for itself.

As you can see from this excellent instructive video, in which David Axelrod demonstrates for rookie Savannah Guthrie how best to spin those pesky “truth gaps” that pop up so often in campaigns: this one regarding BO’s promise to make immigration reform JOB ONE in his first term.

David deserves some kind of a medal too, butt I haven’t quite decided which kind yet.

One final note: I see Lady M has hit the campaign trail again. And I see she needs me so I guess my vacation is drawing to an end. I’ll be getting back to work on Monday, hopefully to eliminate all evidence of the stress of this campaign on MO’s otherwise perfectly toned body.

Our official position is still “evolving”

Here are three good reasons to walk back a week old inanity that everybody knows was a lie:

  1. you get caught in your lie
  2. you get caught in your lie
  3. you get caught in your lie

empty chair in cairoTerrorists celebrate Empty Chair Day in Benghazi

I guess our spooks (note: NOT racist - slang for “spies”) are finally getting tired of the crap spin mis-misunderstandings going on around here and they’re refusing to keep their yaps shut about it any more:

The officials provided the information to the Washington Guardian, saying they feared the Obama administration’s scant description of the episode left a misimpression that the two ex-Navy SEALs might have been responsible for the ambassador’s personal safety or become separated from him.

Needless to say this sort of loose-lipped action is unheard of in the ranks of Special Forces. If that’s not enough to make you wake up and smell the coffee I don’t know what is.

7 days in may

Military coup? “We do not have that phenomenon in this country.”

Oh, and furthermore, about the 2 former Navy Seals killed in that spontaneous attack caused by the MOVIE? Not really part of the Ambassador's security detail after all. They just stepped into the breach to try to defend the embassy. Because that’s what  Navy Seals do. So that’s it, I guess Big Guy and Hillary and Susan Rice just all mis-misunderstood that aspect of the attack on our consulate.

It kind of makes you wonder though; what else might Big Guy have mis-misunderstood in these past years?

So don’t forget; coming this November – a brand new Presidential poll! Be sure to cast your vote for whether you think our current President is:

  • a liar
  • a fool
  • all of the above

Occupy Wednesday

I’m sick of politics. I sense that you are too.

bo obamaletterman-hmed_380;380;7;70;0

So today, I’ll let everyone else rave about Big Guy’s 2nd, 3rd, or 10th visit with America’s most ill-humored comedian (where he explained, among many other things, why it’s harder to campaign as an incumbent “You’ve got two jobs.” - in case you were worried that he’d forgotten about his first one).

obama_golf_1230

And they’re all talking BO’s fundraiser at Jay-Z’s 40/40 club in Manhattan where 100 lucky 1 percenters paid $40k to hear Big Guy tell them how Lady M is just like co-host BeyoncĂ© (voted People’s Magazine “Most Beautiful Woman” this year! BeyoncĂ©, not Lady M, Beyonabitch!). Their will, of course, be no mention of the coarseness of the Jay-Z’s hip-hop lyrics nor the raunchiness of B’s “music” videos – except by Prof. Jacobson, that is.

Beyonce-SingsThe most beautiful woman in the world gets bodied for Obama

No, I don’t feel like talking about any of that.

Instead, I’d like to spend a little time on something not getting the amount of media play that it deserves. No, not the secret video of Romney made by Grandpa Carter’s progeny. And no, not the Islamists around the world torchings of all things Western either. Something more important - coverage of the first anniversary of Occupy Wall Street which has nearly passed unnoticed due to lack of interest.

Butt I find it interesting…the whole concept. Here we have a grass roots mob of ne’er do wells spontaneously erupting into protest against Capitalism, Big Business and Big Banks. Interesting, because 99% of these 99 percenters have no working knowledge of what the  basic economy is let alone how it functions, no comprehension of what capitalism is, or how it works, and whose only experience with Big Banks and Big Business involves using their credit card (or Mommy’s) to buy a new iPhone.

And now, since they don’t have jobs, the bank (or Mommy) cut off their credit card, they need to get more free stuff from the government (that’s you) to supplement the lifestyle they’ve become accustomed to. They may be part of that “entitlement” group that Romney was referring too.

Well, see for yourself:

It’s only the first anniversary of OWS, butt the Owies are showing signs of accelerated aging. In fact, they seem to be exhibiting a lot of Alzheimer-like symptoms. They don’t really remember how they got here, or why they’re here, butt they’re mad at everybody. Because they want more “stuff.”

The ones who do have their wits about them are perfectly clear however: they are seeking social justice by tearing down Big Businesses, Big Banks and Big Wall Street firms in order to clear the way for Big Government to give them all the free stuff they so richly deserve – just by virtue of living in the most prosperous country in the world.

Butt for now, they’re going to take a break: back to the drugs, sex and rock and roll that brought us together at OWS in the first place.

Today’s political truth: There’s no room for truth in politics.

What is with these people and hidden cameras? Don’t they realize by now that, like Visa, they’re everywhere you want to be?

kate middleton photog's positionApproximate location of photographer capturing naked shots of Princess Kate in the house “clearly visible from the road”

Just like open mics:

You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.

And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Barack Obama, Nob Hill, San Francisco, April 9, 2008

and this:

"On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this can be solved, but it's important for him [Prime Minister Vladimir Putin] to give me space." He added, "This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility."

Barack Obama, Seoul, South Korea, March 26, 2012

Butt hey! This isn’t about violating the space of our royalty. This is about Romney and his insensitive comments that prove definitively what we’ve been saying all along: he hates poor people.

This candid camera moment is actually from last May, butt we’ve been waiting for the right time to release it. Yesterday, concurrent with the announcement from Libyan officials that they gave the US three days warning prior to the attack on our embassy, was that right time. As we like to say around here, if you can’t change the facts, change the story. It was clearly time to make fun of Romney again. For speaking the truth. Which we won’t tolerate.

“There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that’s an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax... my job is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives…. The president has been a disappointment. He told you he’d keep unemployment below 8 percent. Hasn’t been below eight percent since. Fifty percent of kids coming out of school can’t get a job. Fifty percent.”

Mitt Romney, Boca Raton, FL, May 17, 2012

Odd though, because the Dems usually revel in pointing out how all of these various special interest victim classes are dependent on government, and are in their stable. It’s just that when a Republican acknowledges it, it sounds so…so hateful! So much like class warfare.

Obama-Class-Warfare

So can we stop talking about the failure of Big Guy’s Middle-East foreign relations policy of appeasement? And his gazillion dollar deficit, and his failure to create jobs, jobs jobs!, and the increasing prices of everything from gasoline to hamburgers, and the continuing weak housing market, and the ongoing decrease in manufacturing statistics and the near bankruptcy of the Social Security Disability pool…?

Because the real issue is that Romney hates little people and he thinks we’ve already got too many people dependent on government. Instead of getting out there and not building things on their own.

First they came for your Second Amendment rights…

Looks like CAIR has adopted the strategy of Hope ’n Change: never let a good crisis go to waste.

Arab governments are stepping up their demands for regulation of American media to ensure Islam gets more favorable coverage in the United States, while President Barack Obama used his weekend message to again condemn criticism of Islam and to reassure Americans worried war in the Arab region.

Egypt’s Prime Minister Hisham Qandil said Sept. 15 that he expected changes in U.S. law and media practice following the release of a 14-minute anti-Islam YouTube video and a week of ongoing unrest in the Middle East.(snip)

But Qandil’s statement also hinted at more violence if the Islamists’ demands were not met.

Two words immediately come to mind while reading that: “blackmail” and “appeasement.” Both of which seem to have occurred to Big Guy’s Chicago-Rules enforcers too, and they responded accordingly:

Movie arrest“The MOVIE” producer taken in for “questioning” under false pretenses.

Which prompted the Instapundit to observe that the administration literally sent brown-shirted enforcers to launch a midnight knock on a filmmaker’s door.”

It also caused Roger Kimball to get all philosophical,

I remember a line from the philosopher David Hume that Hayek used as an epigraph to The Road to Serfdom.  “It is seldom,” said Hume, “that liberty of any kind is lost all at once,”

and drove Mark Steyn to imply it might be a “ham-fisted” move (which was immediately condemned as being anti-Islamic):

The president is too lazy and cocksure to have learned any prepared remarks or mastered the appropriate tone, notwithstanding that a government that spends more money than any government in the history of the planet has ever spent can surely provide him with both a speechwriting team and a quiet corner on his private wide-bodied jet to consider what might be fitting for the occasion.

So instead he sloughs off the words, bloodless and unfelt: "And obviously our hearts are broken ..." Yeah, it's totally obvious.

And he's even more drunk on his celebrity than the fanbois, so in his slapdashery he winds up comparing the sacrifice of a diplomat lynched by a pack of savages with the enthusiasm of his own campaign bobbysoxers.

No, no, says the Broadway director; that's too crude, too ham-fisted. How about the crowd is cheering and distracted, but he's the president, he understands the gravity of the hour, and he's the greatest orator of his generation, so he's thought about what he's going to say, and it takes a few moments but his words are so moving that they still the cheers of the fanbois, and at the end there's complete silence and a few muffled sobs, and even in party-town they understand the sacrifice and loss of their compatriots on the other side of the world.

So here’s where we are so far: first, they came for our Second Amendment rights;

stop-gun-control

second, they came for our First Amendment rights.

H/T Satan’s Goaliefree_speech_is_hate_speech_by_Satansgoalie…and Free speech isn’t about speech, it’s about freedom

So I think you can see where this basic transformation of America is going. Spread the word. While you still can.

It’s the Movie, Stupid! How many times do I have to tell you?

It’s quite troublesome that the “the Middle East is burning” meme is still gaining traction. It’s really putting a chill on our celebrity fundraising season which is just kicking into high gear as we draw close to the second coming reelection.

Meanwhile, our counter meme “It’s the MOVIE, stupid!” seems to be falling apart a little too fast.

sundance92Just like in the movies, shit happens

Now even the Libyans themselves seem to be blaming Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula for  the attack on our consulate and the killing of our embassy staff instead of Terry Jones. Maybe our State Department should start reading the Wall Street Journal for intelligence information. Or Victor Davis Hansen.

Or maybe our Ambassador to the UN could at least read Yahoo News where it’s still possible to pick up a few choice clues, like this one, that give you some insight into what’s really happening around the world:

"Whoever comes across America's ambassadors or emissaries should follow the example of Omar al-Mukhtar's descendants (Libyans), who killed the American ambassador," the group said, referring to Tuesday's attack on the U.S. consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi.

"Let the step of kicking out the embassies be a step towards liberating Muslim countries from the American hegemony."

Probably just as well that it was AQAP instead of that “MOVIE” because if movies incite radical Islamists to violence, we would have to insist that “Zero Dark Thirty” - the movie about how Big Guy just went right in and whacked Osama Bin Laden - be pulled from release too. Because if movies are to blame for riots, this one might ignite a doozy. And unlike the YouTube trailer MOVIE, Hilz won’t be able to claim the U.S. government and Big Guy’s administration had nothing to do with it.

Butt this kerfuffle sure has everyone shuffling around to find firm ground to stand on. The press even asked Jay-Jay about why Big Guy doesn’t attend his Presidential Daily Briefings! Imagine the audacity. Jay-Jay just put them right in their place though:

But Mr. Carney says in-person briefings aren't necessary for Mr. Obama; the iPad works just fine.

obama-iphone2012_reps_s640x525It’s the damn iPhone that he has trouble with

"His record of evaluating and acting on intelligence, I think, speaks for itself," Mr. Carney said on Friday…

bengazi Embassy_2338031bYou might say that

Yesterday, senior diplomatic sources revealed that "the U.S. State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert."

Boy, that does look bad. All of this has off-message overseas crap has forced us to hand off this latest foreign relations mess to Hilz for handling. And as soon as she’s done making another hostage tape, I think everything should be good.

Anyway, with Hilz taking the blame responsible on that front, we’ll be able to switch attention from our extraordinary international accomplishments (did I mention that Big Guy whacked Bin Laden?) back to domestic issues. Always a touchy tactic in the middle of a recession about to head into a triple overtime, butt I’ve got complete confidence we can pull it off.
