Here’s the deal: My 8 month old computer has been shipped off to the black hole to be “fixed.” It had developed a “ghost screen,” diagnosed by HP computer geeks after hours-long dialog with Raj, my own personal computer geek. No fix available, needs it’s screen replaced.
So here I am, working on a 7 year old computer, which is about 1096 in human terms, that responds so slowly that I could create diamonds waiting for it. My ADD brain does not deal well with this so until further notice, I really will be on sabbatical with quick links/pics/or re-runs.
Here’s today’s #FLOTUSFriday drive-by: Melania at a business dinner with the President at his Bedminster, NJ golf resort on August 7. She is the first FLOTUS universally despised by the Left - based not on her own personality, accomplishments, characteristics or beliefs, but on her husband’s.
I’m so old that I remember when that sort of thing was considered sexist. Way to go Lefty-feminists; you’ve really come a long way baby!

When the final scores were posted it didn’t look so good for the Bernie Bros and the Ocasio Sista’s: Socialists 0 - Capitalist Pigs 5.
Socialism fails. Every. Time. It’s tried.
So, it looks like the Big Blue Wave might actually be…a big blue undertow.
I’m thinking if all the Democrats form a human chain and wade into the sea they may be able to save their brethren swept out to sea.
And if that doesn’t work, and they all get swept away, well, what the heck? Good try, Democratic Socialists of America!

Here’s all you need to know about Michigan primary results: the two candidates endorsed by President Trump won.
It’s not his fault that Attorney General Bill Schuette - who launched his political career 34 years ago with election to the U.S. House – is a RINO. His only viable rival in the race, Brian Calley, was an even bigger RINO. I loved Patrick Colbeck, my state senator, rocket scientist and certifiable conservative who was also running for governor, but he had no money, no campaign and sadly no talent for politics (something all RINOs have). So with Schuette as our candidate I’d say odds are better than good that the Democrats will re-take the governorship in November with their candidate Gretchen Whitmer – who is just a brunette version of Jennifer Granholm, for anyone who remembers that Michigan disaster:
Better news, John James won his primary and will be the Republican candidate running against the hated Debbie Stabenow (D) in the fall. JJ has a better chance of unseating this old Hag than anyone else. As Biden once said about his famous-for-being-famous running mate:
“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man.”
Except that, unlike Obama, James really is all that; and he has the accomplishments to prove it:
A husband, father, combat veteran, and businessman, John James is a conservative Republican. The former Army Captain and West Point graduate is President of James Group International, a supply-chain logistics company in Detroit.
So maybe, just maybe, Michigan can do it’s bit in November to drain the swamp.
And speaking of swamps and bloodsucking insects: I see that the BBC blames global warming for the death of…mosquitoes: Summer heat kills off Finland's mosquitoes. Only two problems: 1) it’s not true; if it were malaria and dengue fever probably wouldn’t be a problem in sub-tropic Africa, and 2) even if it was, what’s the downside? I mean, they’re sort of like ISIS in that respect.

The media is abuzz (again) about Donald Jr’s meeting with Russians at Trump Tower to get dirt on Hillary.
Trump’s critics immediately pounced on the new story, the latest of several versions of events about a meeting for which emails were discovered between the president’s eldest son and an intermediary from the Russian government offering damaging information about Trump’s opponent, Hillary Clinton. - AP
Doesn’t matter that the meeting was truncated early on and nothing pursued. Still, in the mind of the media it’s way worse than having a paid agent of the Clinton campaign approaching Russian officials for damaging material on Trump.
By contrast, the Clinton campaign proactively sought dirt on Trump from Russian government sources…In April 2016, Clinton campaign lawyer Marc Elias retained opposition research firm Fusion GPS to compile incriminating information on Trump. Fusion GPS in turn hired Christopher Steele, a former British MI6 operative with sources among Russian government officials. The result was the salacious dossier, whose sources included “a senior Russian Foreign Ministry figure” and “a former top level intelligence officer still active in the Kremlin.” Steele’s work was paid for by Clinton’s presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee. That means a paid agent of the Clinton campaign approached .
And now I understand the New York Times ran an editorial bemoaning the presence of children at President Trump’s rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, calling it “heartbreaking.”
Well you certainly wouldn’t want children participating in political events they couldn’t possibly know anything about,
or making political statements about things they couldn’t possibly comprehend. That would be child abuse.
Then again, when progressives want to take a pee they feel free to do it wherever they wish.

HPSurf sent this clip of Polish MP Dominik Tarczynski schooling a BBC bimbo on Muslim immigration in Poland. He also mentioned he was thinking of moving there. All I can say is dlaczego nie?
First Poland saved Europe from the Ottomans (single-handedly), then from the Kaiser (an assist) followed by the Commies (a major assist) and now again from the modern-incarnation of the Ottomans - which aren’t much different from the ones some 400 years ago. Just how many times does Poland have to save Western Civilization anyway?
I think we should help them this time by adopting Dominik Tarczynski’s platform - “we will not receive even one Muslim” – until such time as they can produce convincing evidence that demonstrates they’ve reformed their religion and are no longer required to lie to, subjugate and kill all infidels. Since we deplorables are already called “populists, nationalists, racists,” haters, etc., there’s very little else they pile on anyway.
The freedom loving and fighting Poles are exceptional warriors and I can think of no good reason why we shouldn’t support them 100%. Granted, their language is a bit difficult, with all those complex consonant clusters that are are totally unpronounceable, but it’s nothing that buying a few vowels couldn’t fix. Mind you, I’m talking about normal vowels, not the weird ones with squiggly tails tacked on, called ogoneks, that they just slap into a word all willy-nilly.
But that’s just a nit; I’ll forgive them for all the spelling and grammar hijinks if they agree to save Western Civilization from itself just one more time.
I swear, I won’t even complain about how they choose to pronounce pączki.
Pray for the Poles, they may well be our last line of defense.
