Leadership: You Know It When You See It. And When You Don’t

Given that we just lost another war that we won (Afghanistan, in case you’ve lost track); and given that Russia’s Vladdy just declared himself king of the mountain in the Middle East and has commenced bombing missions on our allies in Syria, perhaps we should hear from our Secretary of State, Jean Carré.

He thinks it’s time to “deconflict” - which is something like “coordinate,” if by “coordinate” you mean “get out of the way.”

There seems to be a consensus that Brit Hume summarized the situation best:

or if it was his response to Putin’s demand that BHO “lead, follow, or get out of the way.”

Leadership: it’s a tricky thing. It’s hard to describe butt you know it when you see it; and you sure know it when you don’t.
