Joe Biden, speaking to coal miners while campaigning for the Dems’ presidential nomination in January, 2020:
“Give me a break, anybody who can throw coal into a furnace can learn how to program, for God's sake!”
Only Joey could manage to insult both coal miners and software engineers in the same sentence while simultaneously demonstrating his ignorance of both. Miners don’t “throw coal into a furnace” in fact, nobody throws coal into a furnace anymore. Shoveling is a predictor of success for only one career:
Politician. Programming requires other skills.
But yesterday old shovel-ready Joe - the Dems’ torchbearer - delivered his first out-of-basement experience of the season. He took the opportunity to blame President Trump for “stroking violence in our cities.” Now given the nature of fake news these days this is a minor point but let the record reflect that what Old Joe actually said was “stroking” violence in our cities. Yet when reported by AP, the source for hundreds of other “news” reports, they “fixed it” for him and inserted the more appropriate verb “stoking.” Like I said it’s a minor point but it serves to make Biden sound more like a cognizant being than a teleprompter-reading NPC.
Apparently Joe felt the need to convince people that he was still that loveable, innocuous moderate he’s always been known as:
“You know me. You know my heart. You know my story, my family's story.
Yes Joe, we do. And it’s still creepy, an old fool who can’t stop “stroking” your young prey.
“Do I look like a radical socialist with a soft spot for rioters? Really?”
Honestly, at this point I’m not even sure you know what socialism is but you definitely look like you have a soft spot. Or two.
Yeah, no: somehow I find it hard to believe the protesters, anarchists, agitators, rioters, looters and lowlifes are taking their cues from President Trump. To be fair, they’re not getting them from Creepy Old Joe either, he’s just the sock puppet.
