Rockin’ La Vota Loca

Did you hear, the election has been postponed due to historic Frankenstorm Sandy? Yup. I just got this official email from Big Guy himself this morning:

MOTUS -- As you know, Frankenstorm Sandy has disrupted communities all up and down our eastern seaboard. This is especially troubling because these are areas with a majority of voters who support me. Power is still out, there is no food, no water no gasoline and my FEMA response team is starting to look a lot more like Katrina than I had HOPEd. But fear not. I have assembled an experienced, independent group of election professionals to review my options. My team includes election observers from Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, Venezuelan President and close personal friend, Hugo Chavez, and former President Jimmy Carter. Based upon their recommendation, I have issued an executive order that tomorrow’s election be postponed for one week. Please mark your calendars and tell all your friends who plan to vote for me that the election will now take place on: Tuesday, November 13, 2012 If you have friends who plan to vote for my opponent, please let them continue to think the election will be held tomorrow. Also, you might want to rethink the matter of your friendship with them. Thank you, and let’s keep moving FOREWARD! Barack     This email was sent to: motus@whitehouse.gov. I’m not sure what I should do, since I’m planning to vote for Big Guy’s opponent not sure who I’m voting for yet. I guess if I’m voting for “4 More Years,” I wait until next Tuesday; butt if I’m voting for “1 More Day,” I should vote tomorrow.

NOTE: My legal team advises that I must disclose that this is not an actual email from Big Guy and that the election has not actually been postponed. They also advise that I may not tell people who voted for Obama in 2008, that their vote for Obama in 2012 has already been entered and counted, so they do not have to actually go to a polling place and vote for Obama again. Butt, they didn’t say that you can’t tell them!

Then it’s off to Iowa to hook up with big Guy and then on to our “Sanctum Sanctorum” in Chicago to await the mobilization of our legal challenges to the racist outcome of tomorrow’s non-official election results.

I have to run now, but Dewey From Detroit is going to do a guest post here on my little blog which will be cross-posted on his own blog. You won’t want to miss it!

He also promises to get back to regular blogging once his official campaign duties come to an end. Unless he winds up in an official position in the Romney administration!???
