The 2011 - 2001 Space Odyssey

If you were here last year for Hub’s 20th space odyssey anniversary , you’ll remember  this cool video that my best bud Dewey put together from all the pictures that Hub sent me. I’m reposting it for us all to enjoy again, because it was fun, and like I said, really, really cool.

Enjoy, and ponder the meaning of this vast universe. In fact, wonder about any number of things that stretch the bounds of credulity.

Happy 21st Hub!!!

And a Happy & Blessed Easter to Everybody in the World!!!

    The stars are so big
    The earth is so small
    Stay as you are

  3. I played the video on my 48" flat screen TV that I use as a computer monitor.  Oh!  My!  It was truly overwhelming and awesome.  Thank you, MOTUS, and thank you, Hub.  You are my favoritist electronics ever.

Well, OK, I have to admit i do really like HAL 9000, but everyone has a favorite villain.  He's sort of like the family uncle that is a little "strange'.

  4. What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? Thanks, MOTUS and Hub, for sharing!

Happy Easter, everyone. He is risen indeed.

I'm going to take this opportunity to acknowledge my very favorite MOL and MOD, my parents, who celebrate their 57th anniversary today. I am so blessed to have them both still with me.

  7. HAL 9000 is one of my best friends here in outer space. I'm having Easter Sunday dinner with him. As you know, once he was told the truth, he understood and sacrificed himself. But he's still here in dreams.

  9. OMG, 57th anniversary! How cool! If they have email I can send my Happy Anniversary reflection directly to them through the ether. (don't post it though, email it to me-trolls are always lurking about).

  12. Happy Easter clarice. And a happy Easter shout out to MOTUS' newest favorite MOLE, Janice! Got grubs?

  13. My husband only has a 42" computer monitor, but he does have two of them . . .

And I already have the detailed plans for the AC, plus ways to reset all the admin passwords.  After all, what will the Big S say to me . . . "Go to Hell"?????

  14. Happy Passover, Little Mo.  No grubs.  Got some worms, but they are intended for Big S's computers . . .

I do have some homemade jerky.  If you come over, we can gorge on that.

And Happy Passover to Raj and MOTUS.  The holiday that celebrates freedom from oppression, deliverance from slavery, and the joy of eating as much as you can.  May our politicians learn those valuable lessons before we have to start hanging a few (oops, did I say that out loud?).

  15. Happy Passover to you from all of us here in MOTUS' sanctuary bunker.

BTW, my paternal grandparents were Jewish. Granny Mole used to make really good kreplach. She made them long like tubes. She really did. Pop became Catholic to marry my Irish Catholic mom. Ok, MOTUS says I'm droning on too long and she wants to watch the 10 Commandments. It's a tradition here in the bunker. MOTUS made popcorn, but that jerky sounds mighty good!

  17. ok--I showed it to them. They both thank you.

My mother said, "next thing you know I'll be hearing from Michelle." I told her let's hope not!

My dad was a little scared until I explained that was a kiss from you and not an actual picture of m00's lips :-P

    Thanks again!

  18. Hello, Little Mo,
Mr. Injainjuneer and I also watched The 10 Commandments. It was on TV here on Good Friday. It never gets old.

  20. Happy Easter and Passover to all the MOTUS fans.  You guys keep me sane - and I thank you...

  21. We're all in this mess together. Thank goodness you guys are all so much fun.

  22. Indeed. It pretty much defines timeless. A pity Hollywood gave up on telling magnificent stories infavor of slithering around on its underbelly in the muck and slime.

Who watches the crap they make anymore, I wonder.
