A Joyous Easter Message of True Hope

Hub (my fraternal twin) is so humbled to be celebrating his 21st anniversary in space  on the same day Christians worldwide observe the joyous celebration of the resurrection of Christ!

And oh the places Hub’s been; the sights he’s seen! Twenty-one years bearing witness to the magnitude and magnificence of God’s universe has imbued him with wisdom beyond his years, and abilities beyond our earthbound souls. Unlike us, he is not constrained by linear continuums of time and four dimensions of space;  therefore he can see our future from his berth. He dare not speak it, and I dare not ask.

If you were here last year, you’ll remember that Hub sent me a big bunch of pictures that he took with his Instamatic that my BBFF, Dewey, put together into a video tribute set to Hub’s personally selected theme song. In case you missed it last year or, if like me, you just want to see it again,  I recycled it in the post right below this one for your viewing pleasure.

Butt this year, Hub sent us this very special other-worldly picture of rose galaxies Arp 273. You can learn much more from my Trekkie buddies at NASA, and even get “rose galaxies wallpaper” for your computatator here to enhance your intertubz experience.

I very proudly present  Hub’s Easter card to the world. Music compliments of Seal, Galaxies/Universe compliments of, well, you know. Happy Easter one and all.

HUB'S KISS FROM A ROSE copy

”Kiss From A Rose”: Seal

There used to be a graying tower alone on the sea.
You became the light on the dark side of me.
Love remained a drug that's the high and not the pill.
But did you know,
That when it snows,
My eyes become large and
The light that you shine can’t be seen.
Baby,
I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the gray.
Ooh,
The more I get of you,
The stranger it feels, yeah.
And now that your rose is in bloom.
A light hits the gloom on the gray.

There is so much a man can tell you,
So much he can say.
You remain,
My power, my pleasure, my pain, baby
To me you're like a growing addiction that I can't deny.
Won't you tell me is that healthy, baby?
But did you know,
That when it snows,
My eyes become large and the light that you shine can’t be seen.
Baby,
I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the gray.
Ooh, the more I get of you
The stranger it feels, yeah
Now that your rose is in bloom.
A light hits the gloom on the gray,

I've been kissed by a rose on the gray,
I've been kissed by a rose
I've been kissed by a rose on the gray,
I've been kissed by a rose
...been kissed by a rose on the gray.

There is so much a man can tell you,
So much he can say.
You remain
My power, my pleasure, my pain.
To me you're like a growing addiction that I can't deny, yeah
Won't you tell me is that healthy, baby.
But did you know,
That when it snows,
My eyes become large and the light that you shine can’t be seen.
Baby,
I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the gray.
Ooh, the more I get of you
The stranger it feels, yeah
Now that your rose is in bloom,
A light hits the gloom on the gray.
Yes I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the gray
Ooh, the more I get of you
The stranger it feels, yeah
And now that your rose is in bloom
A light hits the gloom on the gray

Now that your rose is in bloom,
A light hits the gloom on the gray.
